Visitors Notice

The Crematorium Grounds are currently closed to all visitors.

Please note that following the passing of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020, our Crematorium and Cemetery Grounds are currently closed to all visitors.

The new Regulations require that during the emergency period, the crematorium be closed to members of the public, except for funerals or burials. We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause, and we thank you for your cooperation.

Please note also that our Offices are also closed for visitors. Should you require any further assistance, please contact the Crematorium Office by telephone, where our colleagues will be happy to assist you.

 

 

Welcome to Sedgemoor Crematorium 

Beautifully situated overlooking the countryside, Sedgemoor Crematorium offers a peaceful rural choice for the people of Somerset. 

Lying between Highbridge and Bridgwater, on the A38 at Stretcholt, the building and grounds are set within the beautiful countryside of the Somerset levels. Within easy driving distance from Junction 23 on the M5, Sedgemoor Crematorium enjoys open grounds with far reaching views.

Our wonderful purpose built chapel provides a warm and comforting setting with picture windows along one side framing a small peaceful water feature.
